PLEASE NOTE : I do NOT sell any rabbits at Easter or Christmas
UPDATED 9th April 2024
Please take a moment to have a read through the following:
INFO:
* My babies are checked daily from birth.
* Photos of babies may be taken from 3 weeks but not available to reserve until I make the announcement as I need to monitor development.
* Any available rabbits are listed on my website and in my Facebook group (contact me for access link) for those waiting. Rabbits are reserved on a first to arrange deposit/holding fee basis. I no longer have a waiting list/ update list due to it being too time consuming and being messed around in the past, instead I have a Facebook group.
* At time of enquiry I will ask you a series of questions, including if the rabbit is for pet or breeding, depending on your answer depends what paperwork is also supplied when they leave. Photos of set up will be required before I will allow a reservation.
* Rabbits sold as pet only may have a reason for being pet homed so please don’t breed from them unless you have checked with me that it would be ok. I will not supply pedigrees with rabbits sold as pets and I will not issue pedigrees at a later date once a rabbit has left my care.
* I will not sell a doe and buck from the same litter in case accidents happen!
* Anyone who is wanting a rabbit to bond with an existing rabbit will need to show proof of neutering before reserving one from me. Sadly too many people say they want pets when they are actually breeders.
* If you are wanting a rabbit to bond with an existing rabbit then I will only sell opposite gender to what you already have. 2 of the same gender if not siblings will likely fight even if both are neutered.
* Weekly pictures/video updates (weather permitting) will be sent to you of your reserved rabbit so you can watch your rabbit grow.
* Rabbits leave with changeover food, paperwork and I am always available for advice.
* I cannot 100% guarantee the sex of kits, they are well known to have a visit from the ‘sex change fairy’ so please be aware of this when buying and if you are to introduce them to another rabbit please check them first as this can happen at any stage and not just as a baby.
* I do NOT sell rabbits at Easter or Christmas. Any I have available around these times will have alternative leave dates listed.
* It is the new owners responsibility to vaccinate their rabbit
* I will not sell to anyone under the age of 18, unless accompanied by a responsible Adult.
* My bucks are not available for stud to anyone due to potential illness and infection being passed on to my buck.
* I do not offer a bonding service or allow people to bring their own rabbits to my stud
* Due to the ever increasing risk of RVHD I can no longer accept back any rabbit after they have left me. This is because even vaccinated rabbits can carry the virus on their coats which puts my babies at great risk. I will however advertise the rabbit/s on my Facebook. Please let me know where the rabbit/s are sold to so my aftercare support can continue with the new owner
DEPOSITS/ HOLDING FEE:
* Kits will be available to reserve from 5 weeks (larger litters may be put up for reserve later than this) , via pictures and videos. New owners can collect in person or use the courier I accept. I do not allow people to come to view before collection , I have to do this to protect my rabbits from diseases such as RVHD.
* Deposits/Holding Fee's are non transferable or refundable (unless something happens to the rabbit in my care) meaning if you change your mind and decide you don’t want the rabbit then your deposit/Holding Fee will be lost. If you decide you want a different rabbit then the original payment will be lost and you will be required to pay again.
* A 50% payment via bank transfer is the only way to secure the rabbit of your choice, until a payment is received the rabbit will be still be available to others. If your not able to do a bank transfer, please contact me in advance of reserving to see if we can make alternative payment arrangements.
* All money received from rabbit sales goes back in to the upkeep of the rabbits
COURIERS
* I ONLY accept Pet Taxi UK as courier, if you ask me to accept another courier then the answer will be no.
* Courier date must be agreed with me BEFORE deposit/holding fee is paid on the rabbit.
COLLECTION
* Kits will be ready to leave me from from 10 weeks
* If you plan on collecting in person I need to know this BEFORE you reserve the rabbit
* If I feel the kit is not ready to leave at the above stage then I reserve the right to keep the kit until I feel they are ready to leave and will keep the new owner updated.
* Balance must be paid 1 week before leaving with courier ( or by 10 weeks at latest) unless agreed in advance. The rabbit/s will not leave unless payment has been received in full. If the baby is being held back past ready date then payment in full is required by time baby is 10 weeks.
* Once the kit has left with new owner or courier I am no longer responsible for that rabbit but will be available for advice
* All babies must be collected by 12 weeks (unless they aren’t ready or an alternative date has been agreed) after this there will be a charge of £15 per week, (full or part thereof) to go towards the upkeep of your Rabbit.
* If the collection date is postponed by you and a revised date hasn't been agreed / dates keep being changed by you and the Rabbit isn't collected within 4 weeks of the ready date then I reserve the right to cancel the sale and any money paid will be lost.
